Home visits are carried out by an experienced, HCPC-registered audiologist, using professional portable equipment to provide the same high standard of personalised care offered at our Finchley location.

No. Finchley Hearing currently provides home visits at no additional charge, so our home-visit fees are the same as the equivalent in-clinic fees.
Can a hearing test be carried out at home?
Yes. Most hearing assessments can be carried out at home using portable audiology equipment, provided the environment is sufficiently quiet for reliable testing. If the home environment isn't suitable for a particular test, we'll explain this and discuss the available options.
Can I have earwax removal at home?
Yes. Professional earwax removal can be provided as a home visit, using microsuction and other appropriate techniques depending on your individual circumstances.
Do you bring all the necessary equipment?
Yes. We bring the portable equipment required for the service being provided, including equipment for hearing assessments, hearing aid fittings and earwax removal where appropriate.
Can hearing aids be fitted and adjusted at home?
Yes. Hearing aid consultations, fittings, adjustments and follow-up appointments can all be carried out at home. This allows your hearing aids to be fitted and reviewed in your own environment without needing to travel to the clinic.

Fees:
We are delighted to offer our home visit service at no additional cost; our home visit fees are the same as our in-clinic fees.
Initial Consultation & Assessment: £99*
Earwax Removal (when booked with hearing assessment): £49*
Earwax Removal (when booked as a standalone service): £69
*If hearing aids are recommended and purchased, then the above fees will be waived, and instead applied as a deposit towards the cost of the hearing aids, along with a Hearing Aid Fitting fee of £149. These fees will only be retained in the event that the hearing aids are returned for a refund.
